A schedule document can be configured to restrict the projects that child tasks, milestones and summaries (planning objects) can link to. By default, planning objects inherit the same projects as those linked to the parent schedule. This has the effect of restricting planning object access to the same team members who have access to the parent schedule.
Schedule documents can also be configured to allow child planning objects to link to projects not originally linked to the parent schedule. This functionality can be used to allow Proliance users who are members of other project teams to view particular planning objects.
On a Schedule document, two sections at the top of the Project tab influence Project-related security for the Schedule document and related planning objects:
Restrict to Projects
In this section, you can choose to apply an additional layer of security permissions that limits the planning objects that can be included in a schedule based on their project links. When creating planning objects within a schedule, this setting also controls what projects a planning object can link to directly, based on the projects already linked to the parent schedule.
This section is only available to users with Update permissions set for Accounts - Project Access in Workspace (Managed) Permissions. This section is unavailable for schedules without an account or for users with integration accounts. For more information, see "About Project Security Permissions".
Linked Projects
In this section, you can optionally choose to link the schedule to a project.
The following table summarizes the actions available on the projects tab. These actions are determined by the permissions in your security role.

Linking a document to all Projects in a workspace
You can quickly link a document to all existing projects within a workspace by selecting the Link to All Projects box on the document's Project tab.
To add all project links to a Proliance document
When a document is linked to all projects, only links that have additional detail information appear on the Project tab. Project links that haven't been added directly or lack detail information will not be listed on this tab, although their links will be active.
